Introduction: Hello I'm Kevin Young I'm 32 years old. I'm a wedding, Landscape and portrait photographer based out of beautiful West Virginia. I'm from Washington DC, I came to West Virginia in 2001 to start my college career at West Virginia State University. After graduating in 2005 from WVSU with my BA in Communications and Associates in Science, I then furthered my education be obtaining a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University in 2007. In 2007 I was hired by West Virginia State University as campus police, closely following that I went to the WV State Police Academy in May of 2008 and graduated in August 2008. After graduating from the academy I transferred to the Winfield Police Department were I am currently the Captain. I enjoy makeing people happy the looks on there face when they see there pics and they are happy is the best feeling in the world.

Kevin did some Fall outdoor shots of our daughter and young grandchildren and he did a fabulous job! He was patient with the children and was really able to capture their personalities and the beauty of the season. I would recommend him without hesitation!

Kevin, is a very creative photographer. He has alot of patients when it come to dealing with people and try to find that right shot that makes them look so perfect. Once you use him, there isn't any one else.

For the first time since my children were 3 and 5, I finally felt comfortable enough with Kevin to do our family pictures. He was so creative and patient; as we have two teenagers that like selfies more than family pictures...(LOL) He was willing to travel and meet any accommodations to help capture a picture that would reflect my families personality. Our wonderful picture is now hanging in our living room now and for many more years to come. Thank you

Kevin did an absolutely fabulous job photographing my Daughter, Hayley. She enjoyed every minute of it and they came out better than we could have ever imagined. Kevin is incredibly easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable during the shoots. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for my daughter. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
once a client books a session i then send them a welcome email explaining all the details of how the shoot will go. After that i send a qustioner to get a understanding of what the client is wanting. I then talk to the client about location and from there the shoot is booked.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
i got stated in photography about 3 years ago. It has been something that i have always loved but never had the time to really get into. Now that i have settled down little i have more time to do what i love.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a lil of seniors for portraits and family for portraits. I and starting to get into head shots and weddings
