FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A reputable trainer should be able to explain their methodology and why they choose it. They should be up to date with the latest science of canine behavior.Good trainers are patient, compassionate, honest about their limitations and willing to listen to the wants of their customers. Be wary of any trainer who guarantees they can solve all your problems all of the time or claims they can fix any problem within a certain number of days or weeks - these individuals often resort to using fear and pain to shut your dog down so that the dog appears to be perfectly mannered but in truth is afraid to express normal behaviors.
