My style of photography is a combination of Fine Art and Photojournalism. I've honed my craft to be able to find the beauty and joy on a wedding day and photograph is in a way that is both real and beautiful. I love people watching. Couple that with the ability to tell a visual story by creating beautiful candid images as well as compelling portraits is the best feeling. And to be able to capture those moments and connections in a real, honest way is what I constantly strive to do.

I hired Tami for some personal and professional photos. I had never done anything like this before, and she was great. She showed up promptly, helped a lot with poses, and helped with venue selection. Several of the photos turned out great, and it was a pleasure working with her.

Excellent photographer! Tami was very punctual and professional while capturing my nieces wedding. She was able to coordinate the event, even though I live in Michigan and the wedding took place in Boardman, Ohio. We received the pictures yesterday. It's tough to choose someone to take pictures of your wedding. You can look at bio's and photo's of photographers, but it is still hard to make that choice. Tami made me feel comfortable and seemed to really listen to what I envision for our big day. Our Wedding is a unconventional union and Tami seemed as excited about it as we are.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on time and materials. So I work by the hour for weddings and digital negatives are included. Prints and albums are sold separately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll outline the process for a typical wedding client: -Quote -Meeting either in person or on the phone -Contract discussed & signed -Engagement session (Optional - about 1/2 my clients choose this) -30-45 days prior to the wedding timeline and family photos are discussed -Week of the wedding phone meeting to discuss final details & any changes the couple has made to timeline -Wedding Day coverage -Within a few days of the wedding you will get a few photos emailed to you so that you can share them with family and friends. Also if you are wanting a special photo for thank you cards those images will be delivered as well. -All images delivered within 30-45 of the wedding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a full professional photographer since late 2008. I teach photography classes, I attend many shooting seminars and workshop through out the year still continuing my own education.
