- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do free estimates, unless I have to travel out of town. Then I implement a $50 trip charge. The trip charge is waived if I get the job. My hourly rate is $70/hour. I also can give estimates for jobs if customers want to go that route instead of hourly (It's usually the preferred option for both parties). Payments are due upon completion of work. No "mark up" for material, customer pays what I pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll set an appointment with the customer and give an estimation for the desired project. If customer agrees with the estimate, then time is scheduled for work to be completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associates in construction technology from Sheridan college and have been in the construction industry for 10 years.
