- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I meet a client and we decide on a session together we will discuss to plan the perfect session based on their needs. I will give suggestions on locations and wardrobe or we will plan an in-studio session. During the session we will schedule our Reveal / Ordering appointment which is typically 2 weeks from the date of the photography session. At the reveal my clients will enjoy refreshments while enjoying a slideshow with the images of their completed gallery. I will then help choose your favorite images from the gallery and assist in choosing products to display your new artwork in your home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken on-line courses in studio lighting and newborn posing, I have also taken and in-person workshop newborn posing and safety. I am also an affiliated photographer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a non-profit organization who offers complimentary photographic sessions to families who have lost a baby.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer with a style that you love. Be it light and airy or dark and dramatic look for a photographer who has a consistent style to what you prefer. Once you are in love with their style, make sure that you like them! You need to be comfortable with your photographer in order to be comfortable in front of the camera!
