FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat (in person or phone) with a new client to become better acquainted. My clients are my first priority and I plan on long term relationships. I am open and honest with any questions they might have. I also will query them in detail as to the type of storytelling they seek, what kind of event it might be, etc. The more we communicate the better!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25+ years of experience in acting, performance and storytelling. I attended a two-year acting school program, one year of professional clown college and multiple performance and storytelling workshops and conferences. I also began storytelling as an apprentice working under the guidance of master storytellers.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with a wide variety of clients. Wonderful educational storytelling, animal knowledge and Cherokee heritage all work well in schools, libraries, festivals, parties and all types of gatherings. I offer healing wisdom tales for environments such as women in transition programs, domestic violence shelters, addiction recovery centers and more. I also use healing storytelling in my own private counseling practice.
