FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly pricing is very competitive as an Interior Designer because I am new to the area and would like to establish myself here. As part of this you will find me very flexible and if it is preferred, I am willing to negotiate a fixed price for services rendered. I want my customers to be comfortable using my services and will customize to their exact needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step will be to set up a meeting during which I will ask and answer questions to learn to know my customer(s) and their taste / desires / ideas etc. Once this meeting happens, I will commit to the project - or not - and let the customer know. The next step will be the signature of a work contract during which the scope of work is finalized and agreed upon. Following the signature of the contract, I will start working as agreed upon and consistently keeping the customer involved or appraised of my progress. I strongly believe that transparency and communication are the key to etablishing a trusting relationship and I will work hard to ensure my customers know what I am doing every step of the way if so desired.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design / Interior Decoration and architecture from an Accredited Business College in Germany (HAF). I have been involved in many DIY projects with and for friends and family. I have provided many design and staging consultancies to clients in the past and am following my dream sharing my knowledge with any customer.
