I hired Chris to replace bathtub faucets. I ended up having to hire a plumber who showed me all the items that were done incorrectly. I had to pay twice as much as it should've cost. Chris is very nice but I can not recommend him for a plumbing job.

I won't argue with Marianne's concerns with this issue as I was not allowed to do what was suggested. There was no access available to the plumbing area and I was not allowed to make such an access point. It was suggested that the shower unit be replaced in total, but again, there was no means to do so. I am sorry that Marianne was disappointed; but at least when I left the residence se was able to use the shower without the use of a pair of pliers.

The quality of work was good. However, the amount of time between initial contact and the day that the work was done was a long time. Work would be scheduled for a day and then something would delay that day. CJ did keep me informed of the delays. Just frustrating that the work keep being put off. Reasonable rates though. CJ was polite and easy to deal with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most tasks my pricing is set at $35.00 per hour depending on the type of work. That is, on average, at least 35% less then the going rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with the prospective customer face to face rather than by a simple phone call. Then, once we meet, I always ask the customer for a detailed description of what it is that want done; then work with them to brake the plans up into both easy to accomplish and understand goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although most of my education and training have to do with business management; my skills always fall back on what I have been doing over the past 28 or so years. Working with customers on improving their lives and homes. Customer service is my best feature as many will say.
