- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Art instructor Sarah Jubeck has her BFA in fine art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has attended CAPA H.S. and middle school in Pittsburgh.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a child I excelled in art. When I was 10yr I was accepted to the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh for Saturday classes on scholarship. At age 11 I was accepted to Pittsburgh's arts middle school based on portfolio and gpa. I went on to attend the highschool for art. Later I received my BFA degree in fine art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduation I became the Arts Director at the Cotter Club Boys and Girls Club in Chicago. I currently run my own traveling arts business in Central, Pa.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people of all ages and abilities. In college we created a volunteer program to do art with kids with special needs focussing on autism. I later worked with adults with special needs in their homes as a direct care worker. Also, I have worked with adults with Alzheimers. I enjoy working with all ages and abilities.
