I hired Liam to shoot my son’s 5th birthday party in August, and our family and friends were thrilled with the results. A great artist in any discipline possesses a combination of compositional skill, technical knowledge, a knack for discovering the extraordinary within the ordinary, and perhaps the most esoteric of all, the ability to capture and translate that for others. Liam Nielsenshultz is such an artist. Beyond that, he was prompt, congenial and professional - easy to work with and great with kids. I will hire him again and would encourage anyone who is looking for a highly talented photographer to do so - quickly, before his calendar fills up!

Liam was kinda, professional and positive throughout our entire engagement shoot. He made my fiancé and I feel really comfortable throughout our time together. He was patient with us and gave us amazing ideas for different poses. At the end of the shoot we couldn’t wait to get our photos back. The pictures were absolutely amazing! We 100% would recommend Liam for anyone that needs professional pictures taken and we will defiantly be booking with Liam again!

Liam is so wonderful! He is easy to work with, has a kind disposition and takes amazing photos. He gets all the shots I ask for and then some! He has such a knack for capturing special moments and pictures I wouldn’t think of! I recommend him 100%!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I pride myself on my communication. After chatting briefly, the next step for us is to schedule a call so that we both know exactly what you are looking for. The more that we are on the same page, the better, and there is no way we can do that over text. I then send the contract and 50% retainer invoice, and then we shoot!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off with a film photography course I took in 2015. We were given fully manual film cameras and had to develop the film/make prints on our own in the dark room. I absolutely fell in love. I continued taking photos up until fall 2017 when I started getting paid clients, and in February 2018 I started doing videography and getting clients for that. Now I am pursuing photo and video as a full-time career, and I could not be happier.
