FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Portrait photo shoots start at $225 for a one-on-one session and go up to $500 based on a client's needs and the number of locations. Having worked in the modeling industry allows me to help with the poses and makes clients feel at ease. I am patient, punctual and have a good nature. I love what I do and have traveled the world as a professional photographer. I use the best quality Nikon lenses and cameras and that makes a difference in the final results. Plus I am a pro with Adobe Photoshop in editing the final images.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I consult with the customers first asking what their photographic needs are. I discuss their ideas, expectations, and preferences so the shoot goes smoothly. Color combinations are very important. I prefer natural tones with contrast. (No fluorescent colors ). Red is also very powerful in photos since it draws the eye to the image.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For 10 years I worked for Remax photographing their "Trophy Homes" in upscale Colorado ski towns. The state of Colorado's Park Service hired me to photograph the state's parks and activities. My time is also donated to pet shelters photographing animals up for adoption. Making any and all animals look adorable is a joy and privilege! The State of Colorado has hired me to photograph their parks and I work actively with the Colorado tourism bureau. PBS has featured my work since 1995 on over 150 stations across America.
