Introduction: Passion Studios is committed to fueling a passion and joy for music. Interactive and immersive Simply Music shared piano lessons foster communication and expression through the piano. Paired with a constantly expanding, diverse repertoire and music artist spotlight at the beginning of lessons each week, every student experiences a unique sense of discovery, accomplishment and companionship. Learning at Passion Studios is more than just piano lessons - you learn how to learn in a positive, encouraging environment, mastering not only songs, but developing in piano through a variety of genres, as well as skills like accompaniment and improvisation. Passion Studios provides a variety of events to participate in, like volunteering and recitals. Passion Studios exists open the musical "blinds" for people across all walks of life, allowing them to be self expressive on the piano, thereby enabling them to pursue other avenues of creativity. We want to reawaken creativity, simplicity and joy as the core of learning; instilling a lifetime passion for music that impacts the lives of others.

I am so happy I found Gabby's studio. I love simply music, and she is an awesome teacher. I can confidently play 11 songs after only a couple months of practice. It's fun and simple, anyone thinking about it should go for it!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
So glad you are interested in Passion Studios and the stellar lesson experience we provide through the Simply Music method! Our first step is to schedule a Free Introductory Session. The session is an hour to come to the studio, meet the teacher and hear their story, learn more about Simply Music and what sets it apart from traditional piano methods, and answer any questions you may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Passion Studios is a Licensed Simply Music Teacher location. The Simply Music method is based on the premise that all humans - without exception - are deeply and profoundly musical.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Gabrielle Krieger is a Licensed Simply Music teacher with 17 years of piano experience. After taking traditional, classical lessons since age 6, she began the journey of creative self-expression and taught herself accompaniment, chording and improvisation. In 2013 she joined the Des Moines based band Like Tides. She played keyboard and synth, wrote original pieces and shared the stage with globally successful bands. She obtained her Simply Music license after years of eyeing the program and established Passion Studios in December of 2014. One of her life's goals is to culturally redefine what it means to be musical, enabling individuals to cast off the pressure to fit the mould and be musically self-expressive.
