Family photos with a wild toddler. Photographer Martin DeKorte managed to find a location for us that would prove to be a great one. The Public Library! One, it was different. None of our families have friends had done photos in a library. With minimal natural lighting, constant background activity from other patrons, and a constantly wandering toddler, Martin was able to really capture our essence as a family. We are new at this, both family photos and being a family. He got our goofy moments, our Oh no moments, and directed us to post for the more professional looks, or proper shots for family photos worthy of adorning walls in our home. I was always mindful of the limited lighting sources and was worried about how the photos would turn out. But he exuded this confidence as he followed us about taking photos that I ceased to worry anymore. He was extremely accommodating when it came to our toddler. He got her attention and held it for the shots that he had visions of. Our overall experience is that Martin is a photographer who poses extreme professionalism, but still gives off a very likable vibe. This made him easy to work with because my husband and I had never taken family photos before with our child and we were nervous. When we all arrived at the shooting location; he started off with very friendly banter and we went from there. I am grateful he took the time to ease our worries before we started. It made for a very fun experience. The photos themselves came out Amazing and it all worked out with the lighting. They were touched up ever so delicately that everything was still very "us" and intact. They were not overworked and the photos he took of our daughter, by far, have become some of our favorite photos of her. I wholly recommend him for family photo shoots. Creative and inclusive, he makes the experience a pleasant and fun one.

Photographer was very professional, dressed appropriately for the wedding. Showed up before schedule to go over any last minute details, very quick on turn around of photos. Have recommended to friends and family, would highly recommend to anyone else who asked.

I have used Martin with iNDINiD Studios 3 times and each I am very happy and satisfied with the work that he does. He shows a level of knowledge and experience behind the camera that many are still searching to achieve. He has an eye for photography and is able to produce images that make you go "wow!" I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a photographer whether it be portraits, family shoots or maternity shoots he has skill in everything. He has always delivered more than I ever hoped for when taking mine and my families pictures. My only regret is moving away so I'm not able to use him anymore.

We really feel like there shouldn't be a "typical" process as each client or project is unique. We focus on finding the "WHY" and let that lead us to the "WHAT" and the "HOW".

The education is ongoing as a photographer. While there is no governing body to issue licenses in many industries, there are countless resources available to further your training, and we take advantage of as many as possible!
