FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very competitively priced in regards to other contractors in the market. We have found that we generally come in a little lower than many of the construction companies in the Augusta area without sacrificing quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many of our customers rely on us for suggestions regarding their project. The first meeting is generally casual and about getting acquainted. If we are going to be working with you for several months, we want to make sure both parties are comfortable with each other. The first meeting is also about the customers “vision.” What look and feel is the customer trying to achieve? We ask many questions, listen intently, and take many notes. We believe in good communication and transparency so we try to make sure we address any concerns. Between the first and second meeting we compile all the information obtained by the customer to generate an estimate for the project. We either email or hand deliver this document. Based on our conversation regarding the estimate, we setup a second visit to focus on refining the scope of work. Because customers have varying budgets and expectations, this may mean adding or subtracting various aspects of the scope of work. The second meeting is about verifying all aspects of the project so there are no surprises for either party. There may be further discussions regarding the “vision” at this point but generally we are getting to the agreement to move forward with the project. Every customer is different so we prefer to pace the process to meet the customer’s comfort level. With that being said, additional meetings are not a problem. Once all questions are answered and the plan to meet the customer’s vision is developed, a deposit is taken and the start date is determined.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Within our company, we have over 30 years of new home construction and remodeling experience. One of our owners has a 4 year degree in vocational education which involved construction and electrical training.
