- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For maintenance work, our fee is calculated based on an hourly rate. We usually can provide estimates based on client photos or an on-site visit. For design-build projects, we start with an on-site consultation, and then work on the design and finally the installation. At each step, we stay in close communication with the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is pretty simple. 1. A quick call or email about what the client needs. 2. We schedule an on-site consultation to discuss ideas, options and preferences. 3. The designer then works with the client to design the garden layout and create a plant list. 4. For the installation, we work with contractors and gardeners to ensure a smooth installation and interpretation of the final design.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science as well as an MBA. Our company is very good at project management and communicating with our clients using technology. Every gardener and designer on our team has been planting for many years. Collectively, we have decades of horticultural and design experience.
