Emilio is always prompt and ready to get to the task at hand. He has diligently assembled furniture and helped me move. Emilio has successfully completed a wide range of tasks for me: assembling a bed frame, cleaning out a tool closet and giving it order, cleaning and relining my kitchen cabinets, organizing a collection of books and cleaning out a closet of long forgotten items. In all of these tasks he showed great intelligence, common sense and creativity. All of these traits plus a positive attitude make it easy to recommend him and to know I will call upon again for his help.

I hired Emilio to assemble a dresser, a console cabinet, and a bed frame and was pleased with his work overall. He was professional, arrived on time, and helped me move the old bed frame down and lift a heavy 150 lb mattress from the old bed frame to the new one, in addition to the assembly work. He expected to take 4 hours total and we agreed on a fixed price based on that but I suspected it would take longer especially since the dresser’s online reviews (by lay people) said it alone took at least 4 hours or more. He ended up taking 8 hours total and when I asked how much more I should give him (as it only seemed reasonable), he just said “whatever you think is appropriate”. So I paid him for about 6 hours at his rate. His assembly work was thorough. The console cabinet had minor alignment imperfections and one of the dresser’s metal knobs broke into two pieces but these were because the products themselves were fairly cheap, and Emilio worked with it as one reasonably can. He also removed and put back on a closet door because that was the only way the assembled dresser could be moved to inside the closet where I wanted it. I’ll be happy to hire him again.
