FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Its just about time and materials. When i give you a number before I start, that is what you will pay. If I under estimate the job, that's on me and I am not going to ask you to cover it. But if something does need to be adjusted or changed, I will explain it all in great detail and invite you to double check me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen. Let them tell me what their needs are. I believe in giving the customer what they want and not asking them to want what you did.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my previous jobs gave me skills that were a perfect fit when I entered into HVAC. Metal work, electronics, electrical and mechanical just seem to combine to make me a detail oriented installer with a passion for the finished result. Although I have been doing HVAC for awhile, I think its my previous knowledge that gives me the edge over other installers to think outside of the box. The efficiency and skill to fabricate keeps the bottom line down resulting in a higher quality, lower budget project.
