FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Project pricing over hourly is preferable and I prefer retainers over projects so we have time to develop a relationship. Hourly will also be the most expensive whereas retainer is a set fee rather than a meter running. However, for tacticals ie blogging, social marketing, editing hourly is fine if preferred. If all you need is a public relations or communications plan, I can do one for you at an agreed-upon price and we can stop there. Or, we can come up with an ongoing plan for SMM and PR to build awareness. I can also help you with reviewing where you are and make suggestions as a consultant.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My journalism/broadcast training will usually begin with my asking the "who," "what," "where," "when," "how" and "why." Being accredited in public relations (APR) I follow a results-driven process with each project regardless of size so we can determine the goals, objectives and evaluation. I also provide a non-compete and non-disclosure agreement upfront so we can discuss your project with 100% confidentiality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications, Journalism, University of Florida, with minors in Psychology and Architecture. Continuing online education in programs such as WordPress, Photoshop and Editing with Lynda.com, Hubspot, and webinars for example. Whether we're working on web content or advertising and how it works with the design, a strategic public relations plan or campaign, or simply working up SEO and SMM, collaboration and synergy are the key.
