Introduction: Hi! I can promise you there is no household more fun for dogs than my household! I've been working with dogs for a little over 9 years now! I started when I was 16 at an animal shelter in Connecticut. Then at the age of 18 I started working at a doggy daycare. It was there that I realized that I would never work at any job that didn't involve dogs ever again! The happiness and sense of peace just sitting in a yard full of doggies brings me is like no other! I monitored their behaviors and learned a lot. After, I worked at another daycare/boarding facility that was based out of a woman's home and it was there that I realized I wanted to own my own home based doggy daycare/boarding/grooming where they snuggled on the couch with me and slept in the bedroom! I have also been a dog walker and am now a Dog Groomer. I have been a certified dog groomer for 4 years. Being left in a new persons care while your pet parent is away can be stressful and scary for a pet as can be grooming. I want to try my absolute hardest to make these scary, hard experiences as light and fun and enjoyable as possible! I have a beautiful, very large yard that is going to be fenced in that dogs LOVE playing in. I have 100 foot leads running between large trees that I attach my pups to and watch them play. I am currently a dog groomer so I am away 5 days of the week for 5 hours a day I'm home at 1:30. I have doggy gates throughout the house, the pups I currently babysit get along wonderfully with my pups so I leave them all together in the living room to play and snuggle while I'm gone but its up to the pet parent if they would feel more comfortable with them being gated in my large kitchen with dog beds and toys or in the guest bedroom! I'm home all day on weekends and mondays and we go for walks at Ashland state park and in the warmer weather we go for swims! I have a lovely neighborhood we go for plenty of walks in as well! Of course all that is dependent upon what YOU feel most comfortable with! My two dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE doggy friends and get vert excited to play with everyone. They will keep your dog playing nonstop and you will get back a VERY tired doggy! We take plenty of dog naps though as well and there are plenty of dog beds for them to snuggle! I can also give your dogs baths and trim their nails and brush their teeth and clean their ears at my home! If you have any more questions please call me! Everything. The sounds of playing puppies are music to my ears! I love the outdoors and can spend hours playing outside with the dogs! I love trying to comfort dogs through the stress of their pet parent leaving on vacation/work, every dog that I've babysat has felt right at home with me and that makes me very happy!
