- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Father was a framing contractor and i started working with him when i a was 15 during summer. I wasn't satisfied only knowing one trade so i self taught myself by studying books and watching other tradesman like the electrician, plumber, painter, drywallers and roofers. wanted to know it all.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a good understanding of what you want. And make sure they visualize what you see.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Its nice to know if the customer has the materials for the job or if they are planning on the contractor adding in the bid. There tends to be some confusion in this area.
