Donna was always punctual, and in tune with Rosie's mood. She took time to get to know Rosie, as well as our other two dogs who were around for the lessons! Donna was always willing to listen to questions and offer helpful advice. It is so good to have Rosie housetrained! She had been allowed to poop in the house in her previous home, and after 3 years of such behavior, we thought she'd never be retrained! We wholeheartedly endorse Donna and Timber Trails Canine Training!

Donna has great working with us (mom at 93, husband at 80 and me at 60) training our 10 month large black lab mix Sampson. She shows us how to do an exercise and then has us do it. Sampson is learning very quickly and his obedience improveso weekly. Love that she comes to house and works with us with environment distractions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified professional dog trainer. graduate of Animal Behavior College. Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Pet Therapy Dog evaluator. National Dog Trainer Certification CPDT-KA. I also provide group lessons at Montachusett Technical School.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have bred and raised Golden Retrievers for over 30 years. I show my dogs in Obedience and Rally and Agility. My dogs hold titles in AKC obedience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of work with behavior issues ranging from jumping and barking to more aggressive behaviors and anxiety with great success.
