We complete most all of the work in house with trade specific task such as plumbing and electrical this work is subbed out to licensed trade professionals. We take pride in what we do and guarantee our workmanship on every project large and small. Combined we have over 70 years of all types of construction experience. We accept all forms of payment including credit cards and Paypal for convenience of our customers.

We never did any work for Ms. Sharon B., however we provided several quotes over a 2 month peroid on different ideas that she had for home improvement projects. We were kind enough to offer suggestions and recommendations but we're never hired by this customer. I belive she has us confused with someone else that she might have contacted through thumbtack - I'm curious on how this is a review?
I also contacted thumbtack support and asked them to look into the list of conversations back and forth with this customer to see that we went above and beyond what is typically offered free of charge. Thumbtack support is unwilling to address this issue and only asked me to respond.

Grissom Construction has done a number of jobs for us and for my mother over the last 10-15 years. John Grissom has personally overseen the work done. His high standards have always resulted in complete satisfaction of the work we have contracted with him to perform. He gives accurate estimates and completes work within budget.
Work has ranged from designing and building a retaining wall-to building a large covered patio with attached storage-to construction of a pergola-to a complete interior remodel/repair of my mother’s home. His insight and background led him to foresee a potential problem with drainage when pouring our patio and proceeded to adjust the design to avert a problem before it occurred...this has proven to be a huge benefit with the heavy rains we have received since construction, including this year.
John Grissom is the FIRST one we call-and the ONLY one we trust-when we are considering any construction project.

We were needing a way to better place our outdoor tv. Our arbor is very high and the tv was too high to enjoy. I ask John if his company could come up with a way to lower our tv. He came over gave us some ideas, came back within a week and the outcome was awesome. He and his brother bought all the supplies, stained the cedar and even repaired/stained the original place where the tv was. They did an outstanding job and were fun to talk to. More like friends than a service!

John and Craig were very honest from the moment they responded with me on thumbtack. They responded in a timely manner and we're looking at my windows 2 days later. After we decided to go with them they kept me informed in every step. We will be hiring them to do other work for our home.
