FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial evaluation($100) is priced higher because of the assessments performed, objective measurements taken, and taking each patient's individuals needs into consideration to develop a plan of care. This includes treatment as well. Most treatment sessions after that are 60 minutes, for $70. However, treatment sessions can be performed in smaller time increments, in order to meet each patient's financial needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I perform an evaluation, take a thorough history, and establish goals together with each patient, that are unique to the individual. We then begin treatment on the first day to give pain relief and to help restore function/performance. Some of the non-traditional techniques may be uncomfortable to slightly painful, but the focus is on the results. The treatment techniques can always be modified to each patient's tolerance level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, as well as a Bachelors Degree, with a concentration in Exercise Science. I am a NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer. I am a Corrective Exercise Specialist, certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I completed the Massage Therapist Program at the Montgomery School of Bodywork and Massage. I have completed numerous manual therapy courses over the years, as part of my continuing education requirements. Two of the courses include Level 1 Fascial Manipulation, as well as an ART-Active Release Techniques Spine Certification.
