Introduction: I am registered with the Universal Life Church and am legally allowed to marry in all 50 states. Additionally, I am a classically trained tenor and can weave that into your ceremony for one reasonable fee. I am also willing to do theme ceremonies (I recently used the wedding script from Princess Bride in a marriage ceremony). I like being a part of your special day by sharing the talents I have been given.

We were so very pleased with Douglas. He quickly responded to emails and arranged a meeting at our convenience. He is incredibly personable and you feel comfortable with him the moment you meet. He has a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh at our rehearsal. Our ceremony was beautiful and we cannot thank Douglas enough for that!

Mr. McCall exceeded our expectations. We had arranged a "surprise" for our family and guests. Standing at the alter, our guests we worried that we had no one to officiate. That is when the Singing Minister came out singing "Love Me Tender" dressed in a classic Elvis costume. He had coordinated with our string quartet and executed our ceremony exactly as we had planned. We couldn't be happier! All of our guests were surprised, both laughing and crying, as he really set the tone for the rest of our fun and memorable evening! He kindly and graciously worked with us in all the planning stages of the ceremony. His professionalism and expertise is unsurpassed. Our gratitude exceeds words. Thank you!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Base price is $100 for me to come and say the vows. If you want a theme then we have to negotiate costume and ceremony design extras (depends on complexity). If you want me to sing as well..... $50 for the first song and $15 for each additional (more if you need me to play accompaniment or bring other musicians).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we will sit and discuss what you want me to do. I will design the ceremony and share it with you. you are able to tweak it however you wish....we keep working until we have a ceremony that fits you. if anything you want will incur extra charges....I will share that up front. Once we have a ceremony, you will sign a contract and book the day. A deposit of 35% of the total fee is due at the signing of the contract (50% if the wedding date is on a holiday). The deposit is non-refundable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a teacher, actor and singer. I have a strong faith in God (for folks who want a religious ceremnoy) but I have also been married happily for 18 years....so I can also appreciate the importance of a life-long commitment.
