- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At this time, my base price is $1000 for a 60 minute or less presentation. This includes travel up to 60 miles from my location. Longer presentations, which require more preparation, will cost more depending on the specifics. I can also craft interactive workshops (half/full/multi day) for an additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer contacts me through Thumbtack, I will send a brief introduction with a base quote. If the customer is interested in proceeding, we will set an in-person meeting (either in person, or through Skype, or phone conference) to discuss the specifics of the request. If there are any that modify the base quote, I will identify them immediately and adjust the quote. If the client is still interested in engaging my services, I will send them a contract. My services are only guaranteed if the contract has been signed by both parties and the deposit have been received.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters in education and in educational administration. I have been speaking in public in a variety of situations for the past 20 years. I am also an active member of Toastmasters International.
