Introduction: Ben Kim has been performing actively as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. He has performed as a principal flutist of Ensemble-Vita Cincinnati, a guest principal flutist in Starling Chamber Orchestra, and also performed with many renowned conductors including Paavo Järvi, Gustav Meier, and Myung-Whun Chung. He has been invited to perform in Carnegie Hall, New York International Music Festival, and master classes by Emmanuel Pahud, James Galway, William Bennett, Trevor Wye, and Jeanne Baxtresser. As a soloist, He has performed in Boston, New York, Cincinnati, Nagoya, and Seoul. He received bachelor and master of music degrees from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and Graduate Diploma from the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music. His major teachers are Pamela Endsley, Soo-Kyung Park, Bradley Garner, Thomas Robertello, and Randolph Bowman.
About Flute Lesson:
I have been teaching beginners thorough advanced for over 14 years. The students will learn flute correctly and effectively from their levels.
I am enjoying and passionated about teaching flute and seeing progress of my students. I try my best to share what I have learned from my educations and creative artistry. Many students have won the competitions, school admissions, and ensemble auditions.
