Introduction: The Nursery offers 2 acres of intimate event space, a full bridal suite, an event coordinator, and is surrounded by a beautiful 80-acre historic working nursery. Our private and secluded estate is only 30 minutes from Portland and can accommodate up to 300 guests. Events at the Nursery have up to 3 days of exclusive access on site for the period of your rental: rehearsal day, event day, breakdown. The Nursery offers: A Venue Coordinator including the following day-of wedding coordination services Setup of tables and chairs A wedding/event day agenda Vendor recommendations and/or coordination, as needed Additional Planning Services available through Events By Emily Gravel parking for 75 cars Overflow Field parking for additional cars when season allows One full bathroom within the Bridal Suite (located on the East side of the house) One full Bridal Suite including a bar and private entrance (located on the East side of the house) An elevated gazebo One partial prep kitchen within the Bridal Suite (includes a refrigerator, a range, and sink) One 40 foot by 60 foot paved courtyard One 20 foot by 40 foot white walled tent (available for an additional fee) A rolling outdoor bar Tables and chairs Exclusive use of The Nursery grounds (excluding the commercial barn interiors, commercial equipment, and private residences) Power (located on the East side of the main house) WiFi Access using our Guest Network (connectivity information located inside the Bridal Suite) Up to 3 days of venue access for your event Flexibility, fun, and a relaxing private atmosphere Helping clients make their event memorable, beautiful, and comfortable.

PACKAGES: **2017 Inaugural Year Special Pricing**: Lock in these special 2017 prices by May 31st! 2017 rates increase on June 1st. Full Wedding Coordination and Planning is available exclusively through Events By Emily. Set up is permitted the day prior between the hours of 10 am and 6:00 pm for an additional flat access fee of $150 (M-F & Su) or $500 (Sa), as long as we don’t have any events booked for that day. Events may operate between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:59 PM on the event day. All event-related breakdown and cleanup must be completed by 12:00 PM the day following the event. Two additional appointment hours are included at no extra charge for your ceremony rehearsal. Please call in advance to schedule your rehearsal appointment. Additional hours of rehearsal, setup and/or breakdown can be added to the contract for an additional $100 per hour for event year 2017.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Receive inquiry 2) Work with potential client to learn more about needs, vision, and details of their event 3) Set up a venue tour, and give exclusive tours at the client's first availability 4) Undergo contract and accept rental deposit 5) Offer support through planning process 6) Set up equipment such as rental tent and tables and chairs 7) Help client to enjoy their event and provide labor and support during the event
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been an established nursery and business since 1943. The venue grounds have been in place and expertly cared for, for 23 years. Our venue manager has been planning and managing events for 17 years and owns an Event Planning business of her own.
