Introduction: With a Masters and 20 + years of experience, I am a certified Spanish and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher with the training and experience to help you learn Spanish or English to meet YOUR goals. I work with beginners to advanced students to develop the ability and confidence to use Spanish or English in any situation. I also help native speakers of either language improve their reading and writing skills in order to meet school or career goals. As their speaking and understanding gets better, they can learn more strategies and tricks to learn on independently as well. I love seeing my students' enthusiasm as they get better and better at using their new language. Seeing them gain confidence and feel successful is very rewarding to me. I don't charge for the first lesson, so we can get to know each other. I’d love to talk with you about YOUR language goals!

Mrs. Libersat and I are colleagues in education for many years. She is a resource for me and her students, who show unmistakable and significant growth, are fortunate. She is a consistent leader in her field, creative in identifying accommodations or innovations to meet the needs of her students. She served as a generous mentor for many peers using her deep and extensive knowledge of educational methods and language acquisition to assist others in their learning journey and too guide them to attain their goals for professional improvement. Mrs. Libersat was my advanced level Spanish teacher for a small class size, providing very individualized attention and thoughtful support for personal learning styles. Each class session was full of both Spanish language and culture, and enthusiasm and skill were strong from both the students' and teacher's sides. I would highly recommend Mrs. Libersat for individual and/or group tutoring and Spanish language development.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All students get the first half-hour free; online students get the first hour free. There is a $5 mileage fee if meeting outside my home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For language students (ESL, Spanish), I generally spend the first lesson getting to know the student and assessing the student's proficiency in the language. This information helps me decide where to start and which books and materials will help the student learn and progress. I do not charge for the first half-hour.
