- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a standard pricing system. We offer a low cost consultation for up to 30 minutes with the attorney. If the customer decides to hire the lawyer, they work out the legal fees with the lawyer. Get all legal fee agreements in writing!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We review the customer's legal issue, either by phone or via the internet. We try to determine where their issue is taking place to we can get them to the proper resources. If they have questions about how the legal system works, we will help with that. Our lawyers charge legal fees so if they are a modest means customer and can't afford legal fees, we try to direct them to other resources.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Executive Director is trained as a paralegal and all intake staff have legal backgrounds and legal training.
