FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The only shows that have set prices are my children's show. $275 for Birthday Parties and $375 for School Assembly Programs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My preference is to start with a phone call so that I can assess the exact needs of my client. I will offer to be of assistance in finding a venue or other services the client might need for their event. Once we have mutually agreed on services and a fee, I will send out an email confirmation followed by an invoice for deposit (50% of the fee). A week before the event, I will follow up with a phone call to confirm that nothing has changed in regards to the event and I will review the details to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In college, I majored in theater and have been involved in over 150 theatrical performances. I learned about entertaining an audience from Wally Boag, Fulton Burley, and Betty Taylor from the Golden Horseshoe at Disneyland. As a magician, I had my first paid performance a little over 50 years ago and have managed to keep my show fresh thanks to the thousands of kids I have worked with and taught at Fantastic Magic Camp. On a corporate level, I have entertained thousands of audiences as small as 50 and as large as 1,000.
