- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I teach 30 minute lessons at The Music Centre in Azle. Each lesson costs $25 and are paid for in blocks of 4 (so on the first lesson, the customer would pay $100). We choose to do our prices this way rather than charging a flat monthly rate so that if a student needs to miss a week, they are not losing any money because they would still have their remaining lesson credits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first lesson, I like to get to know the student. I find out what their goals are and what they would like to get out of taking lessons with me. After that, I customize my lessons so that my students are learning the styles, songs, and theory that THEY want to learn.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Instrumental Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Additionally, I hold a K-12 teaching certificate from the Texas Education Agency.
