Introduction: I've had every kind of music teacher -from the time I was 4 to the years I played in college. My music lessons are tailored to help each musician learn and have fun in the ways that work most effectively for them! I've taught for over 10 years, and LOVE every opportunity to share my knowledge and create music! The moments where my students work through something new gives me so much joy! I love seeing them grow as musicians and as individuals through chord charts or music theory or even a classical piece they've chosen!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to teach for 60 minutes, once a week, every week. I really believe that an hour is much more productive for the student than 30 minutes. My students have made leaps and bounds, and have measurable growth with an hour a week! I offer both 30 and 60 minutes, but strongly encourage the latter. I charge $20 for an hour, and $12 for 30 minutes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, the first lesson I teach is free of charge! I gauge the student's abilities in sight reading, playing by ear, and natural musical tendencies!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played piano since I was 4 years old! -That's 21 years to be exact. ;) I placed 2nd place in state piano competitions and ended up getting a scholarship to an out of state college to play, accompany, and lead a worship band! I am also well practiced in drums, vocals and guitar -all of which I went to college for as well.
