FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple. I diagnose the issue, and I give a firm upfront price quote before any work is started. If the job has the potential for hidden surprises, I will make sure you know what those may be and that you know how much any additional work may be before getting a commitment from you to begin. I do my best to take the anxiety out of what the expense will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we arrive at your home, we make sure our vehicle is parked where you approve of it, we put on shoe covers to protect your home, and we confirm what you called us to your home about. We will then take a look at the issue with you and discuss what is going on. Once we have a plan to correct the problem we will give you a firm quote and then it is up to you to approve the job or tell us how you else you would like to proceed. We don't pressure customers or try to frighten anyone into making a fast decision. Most of the time a customer approves the recommended work and we can take care of it on the same visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is not much that I have not seen or found in the past. I know what the work will entail and I can set the right expectations with you. I take pride in not having surprises for my clients. We fully inform you on the subject, what we will do to correct it, how much it will cost and we will complete it with a free invoice of detailed jargon that anyone can make sense of
