Introduction: I offer force-free and positive dog training service serving Banner Elk and the surrounding areas of the high country. My mission is to help individuals and families live a happy life with their doggy companions. I believe dogs are meant to be our partners in life. Let me help you enjoy playing, training, and living with your dog! I love helping people learn how to communicate and understand their dog in new ways. I have a passion for working with dogs (and many other animals), and I am always striving to learn more. The best part of any session is when I get to share that knowledge with someone else and see the proverbial light bulb go off in their head (or their dogs'!).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a phone or email interview to determine exactly how I can best serve potential clients. From there, we set up an in-home consultation to gather further background information and to set up a training plan for their dog and their household. I teach group obedience classes and do in-home private lessons.
