- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Asphalt roof systems are generally the most affordable option. Three-tab shingles are usually the least expensive, but customers can opt for architectural shingles at a higher price per square. Home Top Construction charges the following for materials and labor to install the two different types of asphalt shingles: Three-tab asphalt shingles: $200–$240 per roofing square = 100sqft is 3 bundles (includes labor and material plus disposal ) Architectural shingles: $240–$280 per roofing square = 100sqft is 3 bundles (includes labor and material plus disposal ) Home Top Construction can usually complete an asphalt roof installation in one and a half days with a five-man crew. If intensive carpentry repair is needed when stripped to the decking, the job might take two full days with a five-man crew. With extensive repairs, the cost per square may increase. General repairs: $150–$350 per roof sq = 100 sq ft is 3 bundles. Asphalt roof repairs are among the least expensive because of the low cost of materials and the lower amount of labor required to fix. HQ Clean up. 50% down puts materials on roof. Balance due upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client contacts us we answer their questions. After evaluating there needs we prepare a bid. Once bid is excepted their job is put on our schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out in residential construction doing drywall hanging, hand finishing.A lso hand textured ceilings at the age of 14, yes 14 until 18. Then was a residential roofer for 13+yrs and learned siding, gutters, soffit, facia metal brake work and everything exterior from the outside/inside waterproofing all the way to the roof with dimensional, three-tab, and single-ply roll systems in the process. I take pride in a job well done and very detailed oriented for proper installation.
