- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My low cost very reasonable fee for services is $65 per hour. Fees for professional talks are negotiated. Fees for house calls are negotiated depending on distance from my office in Barrington, IL
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First there is a get aqquainted time and a brief tour of the facility. Next the client is asked to read a short paper defining the rules of therapy. (This is a statement of understanding, and not a contract.) Then the client is asked to participate in supplying information to the therapist including the main problem for which help is sought. At this time the corrective education, and learning practice takes place to create new and exciting more effective ways of over coming the presented problem. At times homework is assigned, based on the new learning which is reported on in the next session. Therapy is completed when all parties, the client/s and the therapist agree completion has been attained. Upon leaving therapy the client/s will receive a booklet to review at 6 month intervals to keep the new ideas and learning fresh in the mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Education includes a B.S. Degree in Organizational and Managerial Development and a Masters Degree in Social Work. I also receive intense psychotherapy training in individual and family therapy at the Oasis Center in Chicago over a 2 year period learning many different methods of therapy from the psychological greats of that era.
