FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very dependent on your particular issue. The rates that I state here are for guidance purposes only. Once we are able to meet for a no-cost / no-obligation 30 minute consultation, if we agree that it makes sense to move forward, I will quote a price for the services that we agree on.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients are invited to meet with me for a no-cost / no-obligation 30 minute consultation. Here we will discuss your legal matter and what your desired outcome is. This meeting can be in-person or by telephone, whichever is most convenient for you. From that meeting, if we decide to move forward, we will agree on next steps and the fees that will be charged for legal services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a Master's Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I received my Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. I also hold a certificate in family and divorce mediation. I have extensive corporate experience working with both internal and external clients in negotiation, deal making and dispute management. Here I have gained the invaluable skill of understanding the importance of listening and understanding the needs of all parties involved before determining the best final solution to a particular problem.
