DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF I COULD LEAVE -5 STARS I ABSOLUTELY WOULD. I signed up for this crap service early in the week. My message exchange on Thumbtack was very clear. In the conversation history I mentioned that I wanted to hire immediate service but I wanted a guarantee that I would have the service complete by Friday. This was 3-4 days our. He rep responded and told me that would be no issue. I was asked to sign up on the Task Easy site to upload credit information. I replied back and stated that I would not pay for service before it was completed. A rep called me and explained that my card would not be charged until pictures of completion were uploaded and I approved. I was very clear in stating that I would sign up if I could get a guarantee that my service would be completed on Friday. I was also given 10 dollars off my first 3 cuts. I decided that was legit enough, so I signed up. On the day of service, today, I messaged my pro and asked for an eta. I received a response back that just stated “ you are on the schedule today”. I just now received a response stating my pro was no longer available. Obviously I am upset but I decided to call Task Easy customer service. I waited for 10 minutes on hold. The rep finally answered and stated that he had no idea why anyone would guarantee service 3-4 days after signing up. Stating that it usually takes at least 5 days. Plain and simple, this company has no idea what they are doing. They use bait and switch to get people to sign up, and lie about what they can and can’t do. The worst part, I moved my whole day around to make sure I was home to answer any questions my pro might have. I also declined 15 other lawn care workers. Now I have to start from the beginning. I am sure this company, or the pro, will reply back and give some BS excuse. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. Please message me and I will show proof of our conversation history.
