    Verified Review
Our electrician Jason Edwards actually showed up 20 minutes early and completed the electric vehicle charger installation within 3 hours. He was fast, efficient and very personable. Communication was excellent, and they worked around my busy schedule. I would definitely hire SoCal Electrical again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to be active listeners, gather their project requirements and/or concerns regarding an electrical solution/problem. We then make recommendations that will provide the solution and reinforce our clients that we have the experience and know-how to complete their projects in an expedient and safe manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a California State Certified General Electrician (No. 138689) and have received formal training on low/medium/high voltage power distribution systems, motors & transformers, variable speed drives, commercial grade surveillance systems, automation control systems, & instrumentation. Professional work experiences have granted me the opportunity to work with some of the best craftsmen in the trade.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being raised by a mason (grandfather) and mechanic (father) I was exposed to hands on type of work. After completing High School and serving 5 years in the U.S. Marines I completed undergraduate work in Information Systems. Worked as a financial systems analyst but missed working with my hands. Having a strong heart for entrepreneurship I put myself through electrical school and the rest is history as they say........
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many residential and commercial customers in providing construction and/or service related services. We are working to market our business to leverage our industrial/communications skills.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Don't rush a decision to select a contractor, ask questions, request alternative solutions. Electricity is dangerous when applied incorrectly.
