Introduction: I have a PhD in science but I love the Chinese language, philosophy, literature as a hobby. I grew up in Beijing and had a lot of teaching experience (mostly in science but I am trying to do more Chinese teaching). I have American friends who speaks Chinese. I love to discuss the language as well as the culture. We make tea together, watch Chinese movies and get Chinese food. I think language is best learn within content and when I teach something, I always feel like I learn something as well.
