- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straightforward, with no surprises! If you are an individual or small business tax preparation client, we will let you know our fee up-front before starting any work. Your fee will NOT go up after being quoted. Never. If you are bookkeeping client, we will send you a quote, based on your level of transactions for that month. If the level fluctuates in forthcoming months, we will adjust our pricing in those months.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to split our clients between tax preparation and bookkeeping. For a tax preparation client (business or individual), we will ask you some simple questions about your situations and ask you to upload/send documentation to us that is necessary for us to prepare your tax return. We will review your tax return with you when complete, and when you are satisfied, we are set! For a bookkeeping client, this is a bit more in detail. We will ask about your bookkeeping needs and if you have an existing system, whether by hand or virtual/computer. From there, we will customize to your business' needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 10 years of experience in tax return preparation and bookkeeping. Our colleagues come from CPA firm tax departments, and the tax accounting and bookkeeping departments of large companies and non-profit organization.
