- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$40-50 per hour is my current, typical rate range depending upon the difficulty of the project and whether or not it is a simple site or requires database and user login. Design work usually is $500-1,000 on average and development starts around $500 for simple sites and can be much more for complex.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Discovery phone or video call to gather input and all pertinent information about the web project. 2) Wire frames are agreed upon 3) Design work based upon approved wire frames (if applicable) 4) Mock-ups created and revised until approved by client 5) Coding and development begins, launch date is agreed upon 6) Small style changes are accommodated, anything outside of initial scope is additional cost 7) Test all features, client signs off upon completion
