FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to set up an initial in-person, video, or telephone meeting to get to know each other better and to understand the client's needs. If it looks like working together would be a good fit, we will establish the next steps to get the ball rolling, e.g. scope of work, information needed, and timeline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business-Accounting Option, and have received the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (which requires me to take at least 40 hours of continuing education courses every year). I am an Advanced QuickBooks Pro Advisor for the desktop, enterprise, point-of-sale, and online versions of QuickBooks, as well as a Xero Certified Advisor. I am also a TSheets Certified Pro and a Bill.com Expert.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would urge all potential clients that are considering professional services to use their best judgement when interviewing. Find out what training they have taken and what credentials/certifications they hold. Also, how well do they communicate or utilize technology? What is the feeling you get having these people handle your personal, private information?
