Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: From bluegrass to jazz, acoustic to electric, I can show you what you need to know to become more than proficient at music. Reading sheet music, learning by ear, improvisation skills and music theory are only just a part of what's necessary. I am looking for students who love to play and want to go big places with their music. From SC All-State Jazz in school to Winthrop University jazz guitar studies, I can get you where you need to be in music.

I have taken guitar/music lessons from Craig Bowman for about 3 months now. He is professional, highly skilled and able to convey musical concepts better than any teacher I have ever had. An added benefit: he allows for flexibility in payment and scheduling. I recommend him to anyone looking to advance their musical skills without emptying their wallet; I take lessons from Craig in lieu of university study.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Each student requires a unique approach according to past experience with music, music tastes and learning speed. I've worked with all types and ages of students, patience and experience are key.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Winthrop University, Music Performance in Jazz Guitar

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for those with an open approach to differing methods and genres of music--you don't want your son studying classical guitar when he listens to Led Zeppelin. Equally, you don't want a student stuck on a classic rock level with a teacher that can't introduce them to jazz or another more challenging discipline.
