I contracted Wooden Mallet Custom Cabinetry to replace my very old and outdated cabinet tops. Not only did they do an amazing job with the replacements but also took the time to answer any and all questions I had about future remodeling ideas. Very professional and meticulous with details.

I had the pleasure of working with Micah at WMCC. I had a 100 year old door that I wanted custom made into a hall tree for some extra storage in my kitchen. He exceeding my expectations. It’s absolutely gorgeous, very sturdy, and very well made. I would have had to pay over $1500 at Pottery Barn. He went above and beyond! I will use him for sure in the future. I’ve seen one of his kitchens and it was amazing.

Micah did an AMAZING job with my entertainment center. He paid very close attention to the details and I appreciate the effort he put into this. It was a reasonable price and looks great. He even delivered it all the way to Knoxville. No complaints :)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wooden Mallet Custom Cabinetry offers free consultation and design prior to starting any project, regardless of size. We can meet any budget or style selection, and in most cases, can not only match any competitors quote, but can offer a 10% discount.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial meeting will generally consist of gathering information as too what the client is looking for, wants VS needs, color selection, gathering of measurements and specifications of any interactions within the scope of work. After all this information has been gathered, we can offer a no obligation quote, out-lining the exact nature of what Wooden Mallet Cabinetry will be fabricating, and a schedule of how/when the project will unfold.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the cabinetry field for 17 years now. I started out sanding for 40 hours a week and eventually decided I was tired of compromising my standards in someone else s shop, and opened my own cabinet shop. This allows me to produce products to my own very high standards and install a product that I am 100% confident in.
