- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a flat rate pricing system that ins based off of how much room the items take up in our trucks. Our tuck bed size is equivelent to a 10 yd dumpster. Our flat rate all inclusive pricing is broken down as follows. $99 minimum pick up charge for a single item (ex: sofa, mattress, etc.) $199 for 1/4 Truck Load $299 for 1.2 Truck Load $399 for 3/4 Truck Load $499 for Full Truck Load
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer calls office, sets up appointment with receptionist as same day service or estimate, junk removal specialist arrives at appointment gives estimate and schedules date of service or if same day service was requested work is started right away.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In the military I was a Vertical Launching Systems Technician whcih is basically a mechanic for a missile launcher.I got started doing this kind of work when I got out of the military and quickly realized there was no civilian counterpart to the work I did in the military. So using all the money I saved up from deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom I started ProSource Junk Removal. Since then it has been a goal of mine to hire veterans that have had similar problems entering the civilian workforce.
