FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Estimates are always free. Once the estimate is agreed on, price will stay the same. The only time price could change is if there is an unknown issue unable to be seen or a change in the scope of work. In any case, a change order with the new price will be agreed upon and signed by myself and the customer. Would also include changes where part of a project was perhaps removed for some reason resulting in a lower cost than original estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set a time to come see the project that needs to be done. I generally don’t like to give a price without seeing it as every situation is different. Also gives the customer an opportunity to meet me and get to know me before making the decision to hire me or not. After seeing the job, issue an estimate to the customer generally within 24-48 hours and upon agreement of the terms that project is then placed on the schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 10 years experience in both new construction and remodels.
