In the early stages of selling my property Mark, a prior acquaintance I met at a social event, came to my house with a couple of investors interested in my property. An hour prior to their arrival I had discovered extensive snow and ice damage to my roof. It was in May and I had phoned other sources and was told most contractors were backed up for months due to the extensive roof damage throughout the Treasure Valley the record setting winter had bestowed on us. When Mark arrived I felt I was in between a rock and an oncoming train. Before Mark left my house he went on the roof and assessed the damage despite not being scheduled to do so. He started making phone calls right away and in a couple of days his roofers were on the roof doing a tear off of the old roof. OOOH NOOO! After the tear off we discovered additional damage, The roof was probably 60 years old and previous water damage made the project more than was planned to do a quick repair. WHAT I REALLY LIKED ABOUT MARK was that when he had to make a decision he ALWAYS talked to me first and we discussed the construction and costs prior to approval. He and his crew did a roof remodel that took some expert skill in carpentry and ingenuity. I would watch in awe how he put a steeper pitch on the existing roof and eliminated all the problem areas. After that Mark had his roofing crew come back in and install the new roof. I was so pleased with Mark that I ask him if he he had some one who could do the drywall on the ceiling where the previous roof had leaked. He had a crew over that day to give an estimate and they quickly got started and the ceiling looks just great. His painters came in and finished the job to my complete satisfaction. IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN: I would hire Mark Adams "Build-It-USA".

Mark Adams, BUILD-IT-USA, did nothing less than a remarkable job, he is a perfectionist. His craftsmanship and attention to detail was evident throughout the project. I had very little knowledge about construction and found that I could trust Mark to do the job right the first time for the agreed upon cost while he supervised the sub-contractors insuring their work met his standard. Trust is HUGE to me. The end product is a solid, straight building from the ground up. I highly recommend BUILD-IT-USA for any construction project you have.

I have never met Mark. I live 300 miles away from the house I had him roof. I talked to him on the phone, he sent me a linked in profile and I hired him. From start to finish he did everything he promised and more. Sent me pictures and updates daily. Told me it would take 3 days and it did. So nice to work with someone who does what he says he'll do!! I highly recommend Mark at BUILD IT USA!!

He has been a tremendous help in getting the right people to come out & find out all the necessary information needed in order to move ahead. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes-We use a hard cost for labor and material approach that is verified with a software program known as Xactimate. Xactimate gives me a replacement valuation that is unbiased. We then adjust that basis to compensate for field, market and upgraded conditions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically do an onsite inspection and meet the customer. Educating the customer is vital to both myself and to the customer as it establishes trust, creates an understanding of costs, value and expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years as a General Contractor, Business Law, Extensive field training.
