I like to spend a little time ensuring both of us have a very clear understanding of the work that needs to be done. Typically this involves only a few emails, but a phone call can certainly help with more complex projects.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Both a journalist and a content writer, I have worked with editors at large media organizations like Yahoo, at niche publications like Sleep Media and The Latin Kitchen, as well as with marketing teams for corporate entities like MindValley.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The most important question to answer is, "Why?" Why do you need a writer? What are you hoping this content can accomplish? When you know the answer to this question, the project practically plans itself.
