FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is a little different due to the scope of work. Here is a general guidance on our pricing. You'll find it very competitive as we don't charge a trip fee for services provided close to Summit County. Often times we can eliminate trip fees to the front range as well. Asbestos Inspection (2 day turnaround time of analysis) $250.00 + $20 per sample for the lab to do the analysis. If results need to be expedited, the lab will charge an expedited price per sample. For full demolition inspections, please call or email as we'll need to know the square footage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off, we listen to your needs and answer any questions you may have about asbestos and/or lead inspections. We'll want to determine the scope of your project, whether it is a remodel, demolition, or a repair that is in response to an emergency such as a flood or fire. We can provide a cost estimate based on size, scope and time frame. We will explain the inspection and sampling process and also clarify regulatory requirements. During the inspection, we'll go over your scope and discuss any concerns you may have, and then explain our inspection and sampling process. Once the inspection is completed at your residential or commercial property we take the samples to certified lab for analysis. Analysis can be completed the same day, but usually takes between 48 and 72 hours. The laboratory will email us a copy of the analytical results. The day we receive them, we will call you and provide a verbal explanation of the results. A final inspection report will be provided within one business day of the verbal results. If you have questions at any point in the process, we are happy to answer them. We can go over the results with you, your contractors, or your insurance company.
